Dr. Vicki Tim’s Session with Red – By Bob Sellers
Painting: View From The Diner, by Bob and Donna Sellers
Red, a 22 year old attractive young woman with a cheerleader’s body, is worried. She has recently been dumped for a younger girl, a high school senior, by her forever sweetheart boyfriend. She now feels unattractive, maybe not even sexy, suddenly a woman not chosen.
Dr. Vicki Tim suggests to Red that she is an exceptionally attractive woman with the perfect, energetic body of a gymnast. Dr. Tim learns about the man with the red, hot rod who tries to get Red to ride with him to the coast. “Maybe that flirty young man with the hot car could be persuaded to meet you at the Diner at the same time that Mr. Plaidly begs you for an invitation to lunch,” shares Dr. Tim.
“When they are both there trying to persuade you to choose one of them, notice the moment of choice you have and how it feels. Make your choice for one of them and realize that most commonly it is the female who makes the choices in moments related to mating.”
“For a change from the habits of a committed relationship, you might attend weddings and gatherings where there might be unattached males or females, perhaps looking to hook up for just the day or evening or a future moment. You will discover that you are one of those who are usually chosen.”
